Walk the world's first elevated park trail, a 4.5km green ribbon built on a disused railway viaduct from Bastille to the Bois de Vincennes. Pass through the Viaduc des Arts with its artisan workshops, then descend into the tunnel of greenery near Daumesnil. The route ends in the forest's hidden lakes and the Temple of Love, a romantic folly. Low-carbon: Metro line 1 to Bastille, walk the entire trail, then return by Metro line 8 from Porte Dorée.
